Municipal Bonds is pleased to present Counterpoint, a group exhibition joining together artists Crystal Gregory, Sarah Koik, Yvonne Mouser, Tiersa Nureyev, Blaise Rosenthal, and Michelle Yi Martin. Interacting in unity and contrast, the exhibition features two- and three-dimensional abstract works with an underpinning of analog material intelligence. Acrylic, brass, ceramic, charcoal, concrete, copper, earth pigments, fiber, horsehair, paper, pastel, sand, silk, wood — each work holds personal or historical remembrance, and tethers concept with experimentation and structure. Together they create a dialogue of construct, amplifying relationships between medium and process, shape and story. ⁠
