As the exhibition draws to a close, join artists May Gaspay and Mik Gaspay and their extended family in celebrating the final day of when he cries he looks like me.
Drawing on the themes of family histories and memory that are threaded throughout the exhibition, we invite you to bring your family, friends, and loved ones to pose for a “family portrait” taken by photographer Lizzy Myers. For a suggested donation of $10, your family will receive digital copies of your photos after the event, plus one Polaroid photo to take home as a memento.
Light Filipino and Vietnamese “family style” snacks will be generously provided by May Gaspay and Mik Gaspay’s mother-in-law for visitors to enjoy
Closing Reception: January 31, 3 - 6pm
